Chor Leoni is one of the most active and popular volunteer ensembles in North America. With stylistic grace, an adventurous spirit and a deep dedication to its community, Vancouver’s Singing Lions have enriched and transformed people’s lives through singing for over three decades.
The Leonids is a professional ensemble under the direction of Artistic Director Erick Lichte. The ensemble serves as the professional headline choir for Chor Leoni’s annual Big Roar Choral Festival and as an educational, inspirational, and aspirational force for this festival and beyond.
MYVoice and PRÉLUDE are Chor Leoni’s free youth choral programs which culminate in performances at the Big Roar concert. No previous musical experience is necessary to participate, and the programs are open to current and future TTBB singers.
The Vancouver Cantonese Choir is a chamber size ensemble dedicated to celebrating and advancing Cantonese choral art. Through high-quality performances, educational outreach, and cross-cultural collaboration, they aim to connect singers and audiences to the beauty and vitality of Cantonese choral music.
Founded in 2016, the Vancouver Iranian Choir is a vibrant testament to cultural enrichment and artistic excellence in the Iranian-Canadian community. Our choir, deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of Iranian choral traditions, serves as a beacon of diversity, inclusivity, and cultural dialogue in Vancouver.
Koro Pacifico is a choir dedicated to championing and celebrating the richness of Filipino culture and tradition through the transformative art of music.
Founded in 1980 in New Westminster, Amabilis Singers is an auditioned SATB community choir based in Burnaby, British Columbia. For over four decades, the choir has presented diverse choral repertoire ranging from classical masterworks to contemporary Canadian compositions.
Gracenote Vancouver is a choir organization with two auditioned adult ensembles rehearsing in Vancouver, BC, Canada – KÔR, an auditioned a cappella mixed voice choir, and Gracenote, an auditioned a cappella treble choir. Both ensembles sing a wide range of music from many genres and in many languages, and perform regularly in Vancouver and beyond.
